Tasting notes

Nose: Classic Connecticut wrapper: clean, creamy, slightly sweet. Foot gives toasted bread and light coffee; cold draw is smooth—creamy coffee with a hint of sweet pastry.

Palate: First third: buttered toast and coffee with cream + a soft crème brûlée sweetness. Second third: coffee sharpens and a gentle black pepper shows mostly on the finish. Final third: pepper steps up, profile turns drier—toast and pepper, less dessert.

Finish: Lingering creamy coffee and toasted bread with a light pepper echo. Aftertaste is short; retrohale carries a sweet note.

Pairing

Coffee all day. Great casual daily smoke—easygoing, relaxing, no fuss.

Final verdict

Wrapper: Connecticut Shade (golden-blond). Vitola: Whiff 7 x 50. Filler: Dominican + Nicaraguan. Mild/Medium body. Construction was excellent (perfect draw, razor burn, ash held, medium smoke). At about $3.50 a stick, this is a repeat-buy budget cigar.
